Synopsis

No More Trouble – What’s left of a Storm is the story of a father, a mother and a killer wave.
But, above all, it is an investigation into the emotions carried out by a son. A son who remembers nothing of his young father who was so passionate and adventurous.
It is the night of 3 April 1998, off the French coast, 47°47’ N 13°50’ W. Giovanni Soldini’s crew, one step away from setting a record for the New York-Cape Lizard Atlantic crossing, runs into extremely violent bad weather: sea force 9, wind gusting at 80 knots, waves 25 metres high. Andrea Romanelli is at the helm of FILA, a futuristic boat he had designed a few months earlier, when in an instant a huge wave causes it to capsize. Andrea is the only one lost and his body will never be found.
25 years later, through the language of cinema, the memories of the witnesses and the power of archive footage, Tommaso Romanelli embarks on a quest to discover his father: the visionary engineer, the fearless sailor, Fabrizia’s loving husband. What remains after a storm? What remains is the journey of a son. A story that talks about nostalgia, passions and the great loves that contain the ultimate meaning of life.
